Welcome to Montfranc
A family property in the heart of Sologne on the banks of the Sauldre canal.
Owned by the Laage de Meux family since 1820, Montfranc has been carefully maintained and preserved from generation to generation.
The Sauldre canal, much appreciated for the beauty and the charm of the solognot landscapes it crosses, is accessible on foot from the gîte of Montfranc. Now non-navigable, the canal and its towpath are now the delight of hikers and fishermen.
